There are shops where you can buy decorations. And then there are places where you can take home a piece of a story, an emotion, and true art.

For two decades now, Magis Art has been one of Slovakia's unique places where fine art, honest craftsmanship, and original design meet. We are one of the few galleries and shops that have long been dedicated to selling high-quality Slovak art and original works by contemporary artists and craftspeople, as well as collecting design curiosities.

Over the years, hundreds of exceptional works have passed through our hands—from artists who shape today's scene to masters from years gone by. We have had the opportunity to work with artists such as Ján Ťapák, Martin Dzurek, Peter Kľúčik, Andrej and Martin Augustínovci, Orest Dubay Jr., and many others.

We support contemporary artists, ceramicists, glass artists, jewelers, textile artists, and designers who create original objects with soul and their own story.

On our shelves, you will find original paintings, designer ceramics, sculptures, hand-painted silk scarves, unique jewelry, designer accessories, and gifts that will retain their value for many years.

And that is why we created our new Magishop.sk—to make the beauty of Slovak art accessible to everyone, whether they live in Bratislava, Košice, or on the other side of Europe. A place where you can discover originals from the comfort of your home and find a gift that will be more than just "another thing," but a memory for a lifetime.  

We believe that quality art does not have to hang only in galleries. It can be part of everyday life, your home, or your office, and bring joy every day.

Finally, one small confession. We have a weakness for things that cannot be put into any "box." Alongside paintings by renowned painters, designer ceramics, or original jewelry, we can also be inspired by exceptional design curiosities from around the world. They do not have to be hand-carved from marble or created by an academic painter. Sometimes they are made of wood, sometimes of metal... and yes, quite happily of plastic.

If something makes it into our collection, it is not because of what it is made of, but because it is clever, funny, beautiful, or simply so original that it makes you smile and say, "I haven't seen this before!"

We love discovering little design treasures at international trade fairs and on the other side of the world and bringing them here. That is why, alongside original oil paintings, you may also find an unconventional industrially produced design accessory. They all have one thing in common—they are not ordinary.
Because we believe that good design, humor, and creativity deserve a place in our homes just as much as great art. And honestly? The world is so much more interesting when you don't take it too seriously.
