Oil painting on canvas — Landscape under a mountain "On the hillside"

Warm colors and expressive brushstrokes create a peaceful, inviting radiance suitable for a living room or a private collection. Canvas dimensions: 39 × 29 cm, with frame: 50 × 40 cm (ready to hang).
Dušan Stieranka is one of the artists whose painterly expression is based on the classical tradition of oil painting, sensitive observation of nature, and a refined use of color and light. His work features landscapes, still lifes, and floral motifs, as well as urban and figurative subjects.
His work is characterized by a peaceful, lyrical atmosphere and harmonious color palette. His paintings are not dramatic; rather, they invite the viewer to pause and quietly contemplate the subject. In his landscapes, he is able to capture the atmosphere of a specific place, while in his still lifes and floral compositions, his sense of decorativeness, detail, and soft lighting stands out.
Stieranka's painting continues the realistic painting tradition, enriching it with a more relaxed, at times impressionistic perception of light and color relationships. An important part of his work is the painting technique itself—working with oil paint, layering it, and applying it expressively creates a pleasant depth and painterly softness on the canvas.
His works appeal primarily to viewers who seek beauty, peace, and a natural atmospherein art, while also viewing the painting not only as a work of art but as a harmonious part of the interior.
