Once a month, a group of men met in an old garage at the edge of town, claiming that modern cars had too much electronics and not enough soul. Each brought something special – a chrome badge, an old carburetor, or a steering wheel from a classic car.
Only Viktor always pulled a tiny metal car keychain out of his pocket.
“Is that a toy?” they teased him.
With a smile, he turned the car over, revealing a watch face.
“No,” he replied. “This is the only classic car that has never made me late.”No one laughed after that. On the contrary, after every meeting, you could hear the same sentence: “You know what… a car like this should also park in my pocket.”
