When the moon rose above the forest, its silver glow touched a small, cool cross hanging forgotten on the branch of a young pine tree. In that moment, the metal did not glow with light—but with silence. It was said that precisely on nights when the moon is brightest, the cross reveals what a person truly believes. No one knew who had made it. Some said it was forged from the steel of a falling star, others that it held within it the spark of an ancient faith that would never fade. And everyone who wore it around their neck with a pure heart was said to leave feeling braver, as if their own inner glow had momentarily united with the moonlight.
