The scarf by Ria Berec is an original with added artistic value made from 100% natural silk. It highlights the exceptional personality of someone who does not fit into the crowd. Each product is painted individually, and the paint is then fixed in steam for approximately 4 hours, achieving brilliant clarity and resistance to light and water. Subtle imperfections and the artist's signature are a guarantee of the product's originality and authenticity. The transition of colors and contours can be felt by touch. Each product is created with intention and the perception of a specific person, which is why it is unique and unrepeatable.
Silk is a refined natural material with an unusual texture and extraordinary shine. Why is genuine silk rare and expensive? To obtain one kilogram of raw silk, fibers are extracted from as many as 30,000 mulberry silkworm cocoons. A special property of silk is its adaptability to different temperatures. In cold weather, it can keep you pleasantly warm, and conversely, in hot summer weather, it keeps you pleasantly cool. What's more, it absorbs moisture well and evaporates it immediately, so the garment does not feel damp. The reason for silk's typical shine is the fiber, which reflects light rays thanks to its triangular shape.
Caring for silk products is simple. It is best to wash them in lukewarm water and iron them on the reverse side while they are still damp. This way, they will iron the fastest and best.
